Alma Vale Farms is experienced in safe and restorative spelling, using our first-class facilities.
Spelling may be required after a purchase of a horse before they enter in to racing, as a break from racing, at the end of the race season or if the horse has been injured and they’re requiring rehabilitation. Alma Vale Farms has the skill and experience to ensure your horse is spelled adequately and can move on with strength and health.
At the Alma Vale Farms complex, spelling can take place securely and safely across our 25 individual spelling yards as well as stables, with premium fencing, wide-laneways, shelters and all horses checked at least twice daily.
Our methodology is to work closely with you to customise a care plan to ensure maximum comfort and attention for your horses. Some of our care options include:
- 25 spelling yards.
- Stabling in one of our 20 flood lit, fully powered stables or one of our 23 enclosed, powered, wooden stables.
- Rugged for premium coat quality.
- Exercised within the 8 horse electric walker or round yard.
- Access to expert vets.

- Feeding combinations for optimum performance and health.
